Historical and Model Railroad

Here you can find a fully operating TT size railroad model built on an area of 24.5 sq. m, scale 1:120, rail gauge 12 mm. This is the Czech Republic’s second largest TT model railroad. The railroad holds 90 locomotives, 170 cars, a functioning model of a cable car system, 195 metres of rails, and 105 switches.

In addition, a variety of historical items from actual railroads are on display. This includes uniforms, oil lamps, signs, train tickets (approx. 70,000 pcs), stamps, cards, period documents, bills of loading, trumpets, and regulations.

The opening hours are only approximate; visits can also be arranged at other times. Visitors can buy colour prints of railway vehicles (approx. 5,000 pcs), 12.5x18.5 cm in size.

Accessible by car and bike – bikes can be kept on premises during the visit, by train – approx. 1,500 metres from the Nepomuk train station: refreshments available in the village; combine with a visit to the Vintage Motorcycle Museum in Nepomuk or Oselce.
