Do you like vintage objects and motorcycles? When visiting Nepomuk, be sure not to miss the Vehicle Museum at Greeen Mountain Post Station (Zelenohorská pošta). Visit the carefully renovated premises of original farmhouses and stables where you can revel in pre- and post-World War II motorcycles built in the Czech lands and abroad, as well as a number of other exhibits, including scale models of wartime aeroplanes.
The Nepomuk Triangle (Nepomucký trojúhelník) section offers vintage photographs, posters and films to present the history of the famous motorcycle race. The period metalworking shop displays examples of traditional metalworking; the open-air section presents farming equipment that is now considered historic.
Inside the manor house of post station, you can visit our admission-free gallery and a permanent exhibition about the urban development of Nepomuk and the history of the site with several interiors from the 19th century.
The adjacent garden offers a place to rest after the demanding visit. Your children surely will love the playground, sheep from Bohemian Forest and a pond with ducks and fish. The local café is open in the summer.
